Our department has an impressive research record both in pure mathematics and in its applications to science and industry. Whether pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree, our program trains students in the analytical skills needed to excel in the flourishing knowledge economy.

We are home to a Ph.D. program in mathematics. Although the application deadline has passed, we are still accepting applications. For details on how to apply and what goes into an application, please see information for graduate applicants.

Our students can pursue one of three master’s degree programs including a Master of Arts, a Master of Science and a Master of Mathematics. We also offer the M.A.T. degree in partnership with the College of Education.

For undergraduate students, we offer a B.S. in mathematics as well as two minors, in general mathematics or actuarial mathematics and statistics.
